I’m Troy Manary, and I joined the Handyman Connection family four years ago. Having grown up under the tutelage of a licensed electrician and jack-of-all-trades type dad, I went on to become an engineer for high-tech companies throughout Ottawa. While this fed my passion for building things for 25 years, it wasn’t until my friend was ready to sell his business (this one!) that I realized I could do more. I could continue to create and solve problems but this time, my work would change people’s lives — and the community — for the better. 

I, like so many others, take pride in where I live. While, for many people, that means investing in home repairs and renovations, for me it means being the type of professional who can provide those services in a reliable, affordable and professional manner. Though my motto in life is to not sweat the small stuff, I do hold myself and my team to rigorous standards when it comes to their craftsmanship and customer service. Whether home or building owners need quick fixes or full-fledged remodels, we want them to know they can count on us to deliver a superior quality of work every time.
